Is your relationship healthy?
Malo e taumoeni tamaiki 'oe Eastbay. I had a wonderful time at the Tongan Interfaith Council's Relationship Panel. After the event, a lot of folks in the community asked me the questions, "How do I know my relationship is healthy?"
I think this is a great question to ask of ourselves. It's wonderful that the Relationship Panel encouraged people to be reflective about their relationships.
There are all kinds of relationships that we are part of. There are the romantic relationships, that many people are concerned about, but there are also our relationships with our parents, children, sisters and brothers, church leaders, teachers, etc.

I like how you put romantic relationship in perspective, as one of all the other potentially fulfilling relationships in one's life. Overemphasis of romantic at the expense of other relationships in this society leads to a sense of isolation and desparateness.
In my culture, people that are single either by choice or by luck, does not feel lonely becuase they still have their family. Children in the extended family are theirs as well. They just don't have a spouse.
By the way, Where is "Moana"?
Malo!
This sounds interesting. I want to read more about this!
what is Moana? a person or a place...
